The draw for the group stage of MAX5 Invitational has been made, with the participating teams having been placed into two groups.
From January 6-10, Mega Arena X5, in São Paulo, will stage what will certainly be the most exciting offline event in South American CS:GO to date, as nine of the finest Brazilian teams plus Argentine side ARG will lock horns for their part of a prize purse that has not yet been revealed.
The tournament sees the 10 competing teams split into two groups of five teams, who will face each other in a best-of-one round robin stage. The top two sides from each group will then progress to the best-of-three semi-finals, with the title decider being played in a best-of-five format.
Luminosity to face g3x and INTZ in the group stage
The draw has paired Luminosity Gaming with the new g3x roster and Raphael "cogu" Camargo's INTZ, while Games Academy will have to take on the likes of AlienTech and ARG for a spot in the last-four stage.
